This year, there are frequent bird flu outbreaks in various countries, among which local commercial farms are directly affected. Bird flu not only kills chickens, but also affects uninfected farms and hinders sales.

Many poultry can be infected with the virus: turkeys, chickens, pigeons, guinea fowls, quails, parrots and other land birds can be infected, but turkeys and chickens are the most susceptible, with high morbidity and mortality; it has been found there are 88 species of birds with avian influenza virus. There are various ways and means of avian influenza transmission. The World Health Organization (WHO) believes that the feces of sick birds are the main route of infection, and some experts believe that the migration of migratory birds is also one of the infection route. Lubroth, chief veterinary officer of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, pointed out that bird migration is the main culprit in the spread of the H5N1 avian influenza virus, and the production and sale of poultry also contributed to the spread of H5N1. He also noted that in the past two years, the virus has spread through long-distance bird migrations to countries where it had been eradicated.

In the daily protection of poultry farms, you should be alert to the stay and entry of birds. Because many countries have laws to protect wild birds, farmers cannot shoot them at will, so they can take measures to destroy bird nests and reduce outdoor food, adding bird scarers and other methods to reduce bird flocking.

They are both good choice that use anti bird net to close the gaps on the roof of the chicken coop that may be entered by birds, and set up laser bird repellents at high places to repel flocks of birds and prevent birds from staying.

It is worth mentioning that, through the application in many farms, laser bird deterrent has proved to be a very effective way of repelling birds, just repelling the birds without causing harm, and the silent work will not affect the rest and relaxation of the chickens. egg laying.
